Nitte Institute of Communication held an orientation for the new batch of Media and Communication undergraduates on 5th August 2024. Dr. Harsha Halahalli, Registrar, Nitte University inaugurated the event, assuring students that artificial intelligence would augment, not replace human intelligence.
Mr. Raviraj, Assoc. Professor, NICO discussed the importance of both creative & non-creative aspects of media. Col. BS Ghivari (Retd.), Asst. Director (Student Affairs) assured parents about hostel food quality. Mr. Aditya Jnana, Lecturer & Counsellor, Nitte DU, highlighted the counselling services. Dr. Nesara Kadanakuppe, Assoc. Professor, NICO compered the event, while Dr. HM Tapaswi, Asst. Professor, NICO led the faculty orientation.
