News from NMAMIT | 16th Graduation Day Ceremony

The 16th Graduation Day ceremony of NMAM Institute of Technology, Nitte, was held at the institute premises on 24th August 2024. Dr. B. E. Rangaswamy, Registrar, Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. In his address, Dr. Rangaswamy congratulated the graduates, acknowledging their hard work and dedication. He emphasized India's focus on self-reliance in food, defence, education and health sectors, highlighting the government's commendable efforts toward indigenous production, technological development and improved health services. He remarked that the nation's progress is attainable with efforts to improve the Human Development Index.

Dr. Gopal Mugeraya, Vice President (Technical Education), Nitte DU emphasized the value of education in shaping the future. He urged the graduates to embrace the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.

The ceremony was presided over by Sri N. Vinaya Hegde, President of Nitte Education Trust and Chancellor of Nitte (Deemed to be University). He congratulated the students on becoming graduates.

Dr. Niranjan N. Chiplunkar, Principal, NMAM Institute of Technology welcomed the gathering. Dr. I R Mithanthaya presented the names of Gold and Silver Medalists. Dr. Shrinivasa Rao B.R., Vice Principal & CoE led the procession. Dr. Venkatesh Kamath, Assistant CoE delivered the Vote of Thanks. Dr. Shashank Shetty, Assistant Professor GD III was the master of Ceremony.
