News from NUINS | SNA Investiture Ceremony

The SNA Investiture Ceremony was held on 24th August 2024 at K S Hegde Auditorium. Dr. Suma Ballal, Dy. Registrar, Nitte DU was the Chief Guest for the occasion. The ceremony commenced with the symbolic handover of the college flag. Outgoing Vice President of SNA, Ms. Afreen Wasim, handed over the flag to the newly appointed Vice President, Mr. Dewas Kararia. This gesture marked the official transition of leadership within the SNA. The event continued with the handing over of badges from the previous office bearers to the newly elected members, which was a moment of pride and responsibility for the incoming members.

Language Club: Ms. Neha and Mr. Christin to Mr. Aquin and Mr. Earl.

Grooming Club: Ms. Mariya and Ms. Angel to Ms. Angel Mariya and Ms. Kalsang Palmo.

Sports Club: Ms. Vinisha and Mr. Rolwin to Mr. Royston and Mr. Yahoshith.

In recognition of their dedication & service, the previous SNA office bearers were honored with mementos as a token of appreciation. The new SNA members participated in the oath-taking ceremony, led by Dr. Sabitha Nayak, Vice Principal. This solemn ceremony marked their official commitment to their roles and responsibilities within the SNA. Mr. Dewas Kararia, delivered an inspiring address, outlining his vision and goals for the SNA in the coming year. The event was compered by Ms. Sheryl Fernandes, SNA Advisor, who spoke about the importance of student participation in SNA events. Prof. Fatima Dsilva, Principal, NUINS appreciated Ms. Sheryl Fernandes for her efforts and presented her with a token of appreciation.

A total of 500 students and 15 faculty members attended the program.
