The Internship and Placement Support Cell of Nitte Institute of Professional Education organized an online event titled "Structured Innovation and Internship on IoT, Robotics, AI and ML" on 16th October 2024.
Mr. Puneeth Rai, Incubation Manager at Atal Incubation Centre Nitte, and Mr. Akshay Mashelkar, Founder of Experimind Labs Pvt. Ltd were the guest speakers. Mr. Puneeth Rai discussed the significance of structured innovation in technology-driven fields and highlighted the role of incubation centres in nurturing innovative ideas, supporting start-ups, and helping young entrepreneurs turn their concepts into viable products. He emphasized the importance of internships as a means to gain practical experience and to better understand the real-world applications of these advanced technologies.
Mr. Akshay Mashelkar elaborated on the latest trends and advancements in IoT, Robotics, AI and ML, focusing on how these technologies are transforming various industries. He encouraged students to develop skills in these areas, highlighting the growing demand for professionals with expertise in emerging technologies and emphasized the importance of continuous learning and adapting to the fast-paced changes in the tech landscape.
The interactive nature of the session allowed students to ask questions and engage in discussions, making the experience enriching and informative.
