NUCSER conducted the induction ceremony for the Student Council of the academic year 2024-25 and the formal welcome for the new entrants of NUCSER on 25th September 2024 at the KS Hegde Auditorium, Deralakatte.
The newly elected President, Mr. Preetham Nayak welcomed the gathering and introduced the chief guest, Prof. (Dr) PV Sathya Prasad, Head, Nitte Institute of Communication. Dr. Sathya Prasad inspired the students, emphasizing unity and the importance of striving for a better future. Dr. Praveen Rai, Assoc. Professor & Student Welfare In-charge, introduced the newly appointed Student Council members. Prof. Sathya Prasad administered the oath to the new council members and honored them with badges.
Prof. (Dr) Anirban Chakraborty, Director, NUCSER, highlighted the duties and responsibilities expected of the Student Council members. He also acknowledged the contributions of the outgoing Student Council members with certificates of appreciation. The program concluded with a formal vote of thanks from the Student General Secretary, Ms. Tanya Sridhar.
Following the investiture ceremony, the Fresher’s Day with the theme “Futuristic Fashion Soiree” was conducted to welcome the new entrants. The freshers captivated the audience with their outstanding performances. The senior students also enthralled the audience with their performances. Mr. and Ms. Fresher were chosen based on their creativity and talent. Mr. Prithwi Sunil & Ms. Aradhana of BSc Biomedical Science won the Mr. Fresher and Ms. Fresher title for the UG batch and Mr. Pareekshith of MSc Biotechnology & Dr. Meghana C Rao of MSc Biomedical Science for the PG batch.
