News from NUINS | Nitte Inter-Collegiate Football Tournament

AB Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences organized the Nitte Inter-Collegiate Football Tournament for students of constituent colleges of Nitte University on 29th & 30th January 2025, at Nitte Grounds, Deralakatte. Prof. (Dr) Manoj Shetty, Head, Dept. of Oral Implantology, ABSMIDS inaugurated the tournament. In the semi-final match, NUINS faced KSHEMA and secured a victory with a 3-0 scoreline. Advancing to the final, NUINS competed against NMAMIT Nitte and emerged victorious with a 2-0 win. Team NUINS bagged the Winner’s Trophy. Additionally, Karma of II GNM was awarded the Best Goalkeeper title, while Yeshi (I GNM) was recognized as the Best Striker of the Tournament.

The closing ceremony on 30th January 2025, featured Prof. (Dr) Rahul Bhandary, Dean - Student Welfare & Sports Advisor as the Chief Guest of the event.
