News from NIHS | An industrial visit

An industrial visit to the Paul John Visitor Centre, Cuncolim Industrial Area, Cuncolim, Goa was organized for the first year students of Hotel Management; Culinary Arts & Management and Aviation, Tourism & Hospitality on 27th January 2026.

The visit began with an immersive session in the AV room, where students gained insights into the history of whisky and its manufacturing process. This was followed by a detailed guided tour of the production plant, covering various stages up to storage.

The visit offered valuable practical exposure and enhanced the students’ understanding of industry operations.
