A one-day conference on Nitte - Advances in Neurodegenerative Disorders: Assessment, Prognosis & Treatment: Ni-ADAPT was organized by Nitte Institute of Speech & Hearing (NISH) on 28th March 2026 at Avishkar Auditorium, ABSMIDS.
The program was officially inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Prof. (Dr) M Shantharam Shetty, Pro Chancellor (Hospital Management & PG Studies), Nitte University, along with the esteemed Guests of Honour, Prof. T Dattatreya, Professor Emeritus, NISH and Dr. Jayashree S Bhat, Professor, NISH.
The conference featured eight scientific sessions, with presentations delivered by Dr. Lobo Manuel Alexander, Dr. Sheetal Raj Moolambally, Dr. Vivek Misra, Dr. Preetie Shetty Akkunje, Dr. Suman Narayana Swamy, Dr. Thejaswi Dodderi and Ms. Rashmi Singh R.
Undergraduates, postgraduate and professionals from various Speech and Hearing institutes attended the program. The conference provided a valuable platform for enhancing knowledge on recent advances in the assessment, prognosis and treatment of neurodegenerative disorders.
