The Technical Club of NRAM Polytechnic, Nitte in association with the Skill Development Centre of Udupi Grameena Buntara Sangha Charitable Trust (UGBSCT) organized an awareness program on Information Technology on 7th April 2026 to equip students with essential digital skills and create awareness about emerging technologies.
The sessions focused on key areas such as Cyber Wellness, Digital Literacy, Cyber Security Awareness and an introduction to Raspberry Pi technology. Students were sensitized to responsible digital behavior, potential online risks and the effective & safe use of social media platforms. The Digital Literacy and Cyber Security sessions provided valuable insights into the digital environment, types of cyber threats, preventive measures and career opportunities in domains such as cyber security, information security, risk management and cyber forensics.
The resource person was Sri. Atul Udupi, an expert in Project Management, Cyber Security and Innovation & Program Advisor to the Skill Development Centre. The program was graced by the presence of Sri. Vijith Shetty, Treasurer of UGBSCT and Sri. Padmanabha Hegde, Trustee of UGBSCT.
