M R Punja ITI, Tapovana, in association with Mulki Police Station organised a Drug Awareness Program to create awareness among students about the harmful effects of drug abuse and the importance of leading a healthy and disciplined life.
Sri Umesh K, ASI, Mulki Police Station, addressed the students and explained the dangers of drug addiction, its adverse effects on physical & mental health and its impact on families & society. He urged the students to stay away from drugs and become responsible citizens.
Sri Yashwanth Gowda, Head Constable, spoke about drug abuse among youth and highlighted the legal consequences and social problems associated with substance abuse. He encouraged students to make positive choices and spread awareness among their peers.
Sri Kishore Kumar and Sri Mohammed Shobda graced the occasion as Chief Guests and appreciated the initiative taken by the institution and Mulki Police Station to educate students on this important social issue.
Sri Raghavendra Adiga, Training Officer, welcomed the guests and participants. The program concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Sri Vishwanath Rao.
