The Karnataka Working Journalists’ Association (R), Ullala, in association with the Nitte Institute of Communication organized Patrika Dinacharana 2026 on 7th July 2026 at the Press Club, Ullala, to commemorate the significance of journalism and its contribution to society.
The program was inaugurated by Shri Tharanatha Gatti, President, Karnataka Tulu-Sahitya Academy. Other guests included Shri. Dinesh Nayak, Chief Correspondent, Karnataka Working Journalists’ Association; Dr. Sayeegeetha Hegde, Head, Dr. K.R. Shetty Tulu Adyayana Kendra; Dr. Moulya Baladi, Head, Nitte Institute of Communication and Shri Shashidhara Poiyathabailu, President, Karnataka Working Journalists’ Association, Ullala.
The program celebrated ethical journalism and acknowledged the invaluable role of media professionals in strengthening democracy and public awareness.
