AAROH, the Undergraduate Research Society in collaboration with INCISICON 2.0 conducted a workshop on Beyond ChatGPT: AI Tools in Research on 19th July 2026 at the MEU Hall, K S Hegde Medical Academy.
The resource person, Dr. Ankeeta Menona Jacob, Professor, Community Medicine, KSHEMA introduced the 28 participants to specialized AI tools, including Elicit AI, Consensus AI, Jenni AI, Perplexity AI, Formester and Jotform, for literature searching, evidence synthesis, questionnaire development and ethical academic writing. Through hands-on group activities and expert guidance, participants learned to use AI responsibly, evaluate scientific evidence, and improve research efficiency while avoiding inaccurate citations and misinformation.
