The Alumni Day celebration and induction of new office-bearers of the Alumni Association were held on 26th July 2026 at the college premises. Chief Guest Sri Gurme Suresh Shetty, MLA, Kaup Constituency emphasized the importance of making the right choices in life. Encouraging students to remain focused on their goals and stay away from harmful influences, he said that success is attainable through perseverance, irrespective of one's background. He stressed the importance of staying connected with one’s alma mater, comparing it to a mother who should always be cherished and remembered, as every visit strengthens the lifelong bond and inspires future generations.

Presiding over the function, Dr. Naveen Shetty K, Principal, Dr. NSAM PUC & President, DK District PUC Principals' Association, highlighted the invaluable role of alumni in the growth & development of the institution. He mentioned that the management takes immense pride in the achievements of its alumni and expressed happiness over the steadily increasing strength of the Alumni Association.

National film awardee Ms. Roopashree Vorkady, Cine artist Tulu & Kannada Film Industry and Mr. Siddharth Shetty, Actor & Film Director were felicitated on the occasion. Ms. Vorkady expressed her gratitude and stated that the recognition bestowed upon her by the Nitte group was deeply cherished by her. She dedicated her National Award to the people of Tulunadu, acknowledging their love and support throughout her journey.

The induction of new office-bearers of the Alumni Association was also conducted on the occasion. Ms. Bhoomi Shetty officially assumed office as the President of the student body.

The event concluded with vibrant cultural performances, entertainment programs and a warm get-together that rekindled cherished memories among the alumni. Sri Gopinath Hegde, Secretary, Popular Bunts English Medium School, Bajpe and Sri Vijesh Nayak, Former President of the Alumni Association were present at the function.
