A one-day Continuing Dental Education program titled “Digital Smile Design: Principles of Facial Esthetics and Face Scanning” was conducted by the Department of Prosthodontics and Crown & Bridge, A B Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences, Deralakatte on 10th September 2026. Resource person Dr. Heena Gada, Consultant Dental Surgeon lectured about the intersection of technology, Dentistry and Artistry. She gave an in-depth insight on Esthetic facial proportions and smile Designing on Exocad software. The event was conducted for Faculty, Postgraduates and Interns to have a thorough understanding of recent advances in Digital Smile Design.
