The Language Department, in association with IQAC, Dr. NSAM First Grade College, Nitte, organised Hindi Diwas 2026 on 26 September 2026 to create awareness of the linguistic, literary and cultural importance of Hindi. Chief Guest Dr. Dayanand N. Bayar of Shri Sharada College, Basrur, and Principal Dr. Veena Kumari B K stressed the need to respect and preserve Hindi and other Indian languages.
