News from NUCSER | Nasha Mukta Yuva Campaign
The NSS Cell of NUCSER organized a Drug Awareness Programme as a part of the Nasha Mukta Yuva Campaign on 25th September 2026 at the NUCSER with the aim to create awareness among students about the harmful effects of drug abuse and promote a healthy and drug-free lifestyle. Mr. Revana Siddappa, Police Sub-Inspector Ullala was the chief guest for the event. The chief guest, delivered an informative session on drug abuse, its consequences, prevention, and the role of youth in creating a drug-free society calling the youth to join hands with the police in elimination of the drug-menace. Prof Dr Anirban Chakraborty, Director, NUCSER in his presidential remarks highlighted the importance of collective efforts in preventing drug abuse and sensitization the students to its serious physical, psychological, social, and academic consequences.
