The Student Nurses Association Council of Nitte Usha Institute of Nursing Sciences celebrated Teachers’ Day on 4th September 2026, under the guidance of Ms. Vicky Priya, SNA Advisor and Ms Irene Rose Rojan, Vice President, SNA Council.
Teachers were greeted with flowers as a token of gratitude. The invocation song was presented by Ms. Ann Sara. The occasion included the felicitation of Vice Principal Prof. (Dr) Sujatha on her new leadership role. Mr. Veeresh, Lecturer, Medical-Surgical Nursing, was congratulated for receiving the Best Teacher Award from Nitte University.
Principal Prof. (Dr) Sabitha Nayak highlighted the significance of Teachers’ Day and acknowledged the invaluable contributions of teachers in shaping future healthcare professionals.
The program concluded with cake cutting, fun-filled games that fostered interaction between teachers and students, distribution of gifts and a heartfelt tribute by the students expressing their gratitude and best wishes to all teachers on the occasion of Teachers’ Day.
