News from NSAMFGCN | A talk on "Break the Bias, Protect the Ideas: Gender Equality, Stereotypes and Intellectual Property Rights"

The Gender Sensitization Cell, in association with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell of Dr. NSAM First Grade College, Nitte, organised a talk on "Break the Bias, Protect the Ideas: Gender Equality, Stereotypes and Intellectual Property Rights" on 05 October 2026. Mr. Anil Kumar Nitte, Advocate, Karkala, an alumnus of the 2008 batch was the resource person. 66 students and 2 faculty members attended the session, which covered topics on how stereotypes and bias affect society, legal protections against discrimination (including the POCSO Act and the Sabarimala case), and the importance of protecting original ideas under Intellectual Property Rights.
