The Student Innovation Club of the Nitte Institute of Communication conducted a field visit to the printing press of The Printers (Mysore) Private Limited (Deccan Herald and Prajavani), Baikampady Industrial Area, Mangaluru on 4th February 2023 to create awareness on the recent trends in Printing Technology.
A total of 15 students from I MA, III BA and PG Diploma in Photography & Filmmaking took part in the event.
Students witnessed the printing process starting from the conversion of the PDF pages, Computer to Printing (CPT), Offset Web Printing, Packaging and Transportation. The technical staff of the press explained all stages in detail.
