The Department of Community Medicine, KS Hegde Medical Academy organized an Outreach Program - Visit to Vatsalyadhama Abhayashrama, Kodialbail, Mangalore on 16th February 2023.

A Health Checkup was conducted for the 30 residents of Dr. Giridhar Rao Sanjeevi Bai Vridhashrama, Mangalore by the Interns Swikriti and Swathy and medical social worker Mr. Santhosh N P under the guidance of Dr. Raksha, Medical Officer Kadri UHTC.

The Blood pressure and GRBS of all the inmates were checked. Residents were counselled on dietary habits, lifestyle, signs & symptoms of hypertension and diabetes. Doubts and concerns related to health were cleared. A few residents were provided with medication.
