Tsutomo Nakane, Counsul-General, Japan, inaugurated the Nitte Japanese Techno Cultural Center on 2nd March 2023 at NMAMIT, Nitte. N Vinaya Hegde, Chancellor, Nitte (Deemed to be University), presided over the function. Dr Satheesh Kumar Bhandary, Vice Chancellor, Nitte (Deemed to be University) and Cutinha Dolwin, Advisor, Consulate-General of Japan in Bengaluru, were the Guests of Honour.
Prof Harikrishna Bhat, Director, International Collaborations, Dr Harsha Halahalli, Registrar, Nitte (Deemed to be University), Dr Niranjan N Chiplunkar, Principal, NMAMIT, students and staff of the college were present during the program.
Students entertained the audience with Yakshgana, Kambala and other folk dances.
