As part of their Student Induction Program, 1700 first-year B.Tech students from NMAM Institute of Technology visited 17 local companies on 30th & 31st July, 2024. This initiative was aimed at providing the students with practical insights into the industry and enhancing their understanding of various business operations.
The companies visited include: Srishti Ventures, Nandikoor; SKF Elixer India Pvt Ltd, Alangar; Fortune Safety Glass, Nandikoor; C E Kamath Institute for Artisans, Miyar; Tapas Foods, Miyar; Bolas, Manjarpalke; Vardhan Group of Industries, Kadambaraguttu, Hirgan; Lamina Foundries, Nitte; AMRA Wood Industries, Kalathrapade, Nallur; Suphala Jackfruit, Nitte; PowerPoint Bags, Miyar; Madhav Prakash, Miyar; Eagle Footwear, Nakre Gundyadka; Material Recovery Facility, Gundyadka; Gayathri Exports, Gundyadka; JMJ Interlocks, Miyar; Brightflexi International Pvt. Ltd., Santhurkopala.
This program provided the students an opportunity to interact with industry professionals, understand real-world applications of their course of work, and gain exposure to various manufacturing & production processes. The visits were well-received by both the students and the host companies, marking a successful start to the academic year.
