News from NGSMIPS | Induction program

NGSM Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences conducted the Induction program on 1st August 2024 for B.Pharm, D.Pharm, Pharm.D and M.Pharm students of 2024-25 at the KS Hegde Auditorium. The purpose of the event was to welcome all the freshers, help them settle in, and ensure they have the knowledge and support they need.

The formal program began with a prayer song by Ms. Deeptha Raj. Guests of honor for the function were Prof. (Dr.) M. Shantharam Shetty, Pro Chancellor, Nitte (DU) and Dr. Harsha Halahalli, Registrar, Nitte (DU). The Vice Principal, Dr. R Narayana Charyulu, welcomed the gathering and dignitaries.

Dr. C.S. Shastry, Principal, NGSMIPS addressed the gathering regarding the vision & mission of the institution and facilities available in the institution. Dr. Harsha briefed the gathering regarding the scope and future that can be built from the profession they have chosen. The presidential speech was given by Prof. (Dr.) M. Shantharam Shetty, who motivated and welcomed the gathering as they embraced a new profession. Dr. Marina Koland delivered the vote of thanks.

Parents and students were given the opportunity to express their experience also.
