The Institution Innovation Council (IIC) of NIHS organized a seminar on 17th August 2024, focusing on Entrepreneurship in Hospitality Services. The keynote speaker Dr. G Sriniketan, Director (Technical Research), Nitte University, emphasized how entrepreneurship encourages hotel management students to think creatively and innovate. He highlighted that the hospitality industry thrives on delivering unique guest experiences and introducing novel concepts. By embracing entrepreneurship, students can develop & implement groundbreaking ideas - whether it’s a new concept for a boutique hotel, a distinctive dining experience or technology-driven services. This entrepreneurial mindset can distinguish their businesses in an increasingly competitive market.
The seminar was an eye-opening session that inspired students to think beyond traditional practices and explore innovative avenues in the hospitality sector.
