News from NMAMIT | 'Aqua Race'

The Shipwright Club of NMAMIT organised 'Aqua Race' as a part of the Mechanical Engineering fest ‘Overhaulin 2022’ on 22nd April 2022. The radio-controlled ships designed and built by the club members were exhibited during the program.

The event was inaugurated by the Principal, Dr. Niranjan Chiplunkar. Dr. I. Ramesh Mithanthaya, Vice Principal, Dr. Subhramanya Bhat K, Dean, Student Welfare, Dr. Srinivasa Pai P, HoD, Mechanical Engineering, Dr. M Anantha Krishna Somayaji, and the faculty in-charge Dr. Shivaprasad M Shetty were present during the program.

36 teams participated in the competition. Six teams qualified for the final round. ‘Team V1’ emerged as the winner and ‘Team Boss’ was the Runners up of 'Aqua Race 2022'.
