News from NUCSER | Alumni Meet 2023

ADHYETHA, the Alumni Association of NUCSER, organized an Alumni Meet on 18th March 2023 at the University Auditorium, Paneer campus. 

The Chief Guest of the program was Prof. Dr. M.S. Moodithaya, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Nitte DU. Addressing the gathering, he emphasised the significance of having an institute like NUCSER in every University and explained how NUCSER has been the role model over the last few years for the University, particularly in the areas of research & innovation. He congratulated the alumni and requested them to be the brand ambassadors. The chief guest was introduced to the audience by Dr Smitha Hegde, Dy. Director, NUCSER. 

Mr Anoop Krishna Rai, President, ADYETHA welcomed the gathering and Ms. Akshatha Kotian, Treasurer of the Association, briefly presented the activities conducted by ADYETHA till date. 

Dr. Anirban Chakraborty, Director, NUCSER presided over the function. He emphasized on the role that alumni play in building the reputation of an institution and urged the students to always remain connected to their Alma Mater. Mr. Prasanna R Kailaje, Director, Student Welfare & Alumni Relations, Nitte University spoke on the importance of having an alumni meet. 

The event was stimulating and enjoyable with games conducted for the alumni and audience. A few of the alumni shared their experiences at NUCSER and their journey so far. A mug with the institute photo printed on it was given to all the alumni as a token of love. The program concluded with the vote of thanks by Dr Rajeshwari Vittal, Staff Coordinator, ADYETHA.
