The Alumni Relations Cell, NIPT organized an enlightening webinar focused on “Unpacking Central Sensitization: Insights into Musculoskeletal Pain” on 21st August 2024 through Google meet. Mrs. Ramya Jain, alumna (2014 BPT batch) and currently settled in Denver, USA shared her expertise on the topic. She delved into the importance of central sensitization, how pain and fatigue control the patient’s life, clinical syndromes with central sensitivity, mechanism of central sensitization, structural, functional and chemical changes in central sensitization and how to assess and manage central sensitization by engaging the audience. A total of 58 interns and postgraduates participated in the event.
