As a part of 78th Independence Day celebrations of the University held on 15th August 2024 at KS Hegde Auditorium, NUCSER put up a splendid patriotic performance showcasing the historic Attingal Revolt. The performance vividly portrayed the struggles faced by Indians under British colonial rule, particularly focusing on the oppressive policies that forced them to grow indigo instead of food crops. The drama was a powerful reminder of the resilience and unity of our ancestors in their fight for freedom.
The chief guest of the event was Prof. P L Dharma, Vice-Chancellor of Mangalore University. Prof. M S Moodithaya, Vice-Chancellor of Nitte University, presided over the function.
