News from NSAMPUCM | Unveiling of New educational resources

Dr NSAM PU College, Mangalore hosted an event on 8th August 2024, to present the latest editions of JEE/KCET/NEET competitive exam preparation materials. Addressing the gathering, Principal Dr Naveen Shetty K emphasised the transformative power of these resources. “Books have the power to transform one’s perspective. The resources unveiled today are not just tools for passing exams; they are stepping stones towards the milestones our students have set for themselves. With these, I am confident that our students will reach their goals”, he said. He underscored the importance of keeping students up to date with their studies, advocating for more frequent mock tests that cover the cumulative syllabus to ensure thorough preparation for competitive exams. He reiterated the institution’s commitment to supporting its students in every possible way, ensuring they have access to the best educational resources available.

Following the Principal’s address, Mr Sharath NK, Coordinator of the Integrated Scheme, explained that the resources are divided into volumes and include an impressive 8000 questions for each subject for both I PUC and II PUC students. This extensive collection is designed to cover a wide range of topics, providing students with ample practice opportunities. He also highlighted the significance of these resources in the context of competitive exams, particularly for those aspiring to secure seats in prestigious institutions. He provided information about the total number of seats available for MBBS in the country and engineering at NIT, stressing the fierce competition and the need for diligent preparation. “With the right preparation, including consistent study and practice with these materials, our students can secure their place in top institutions,” he remarked.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Ms Sinchana, Lecturer in Home Science. All the first-year integrated batch (science) students and faculty attended the event.
