The Nitte Institute of Hospitality Services (NIHS) organized a guest lecture titled “Fly Your Dream: Unlocking Careers in Aviation” on 3rd March 2026 at the college premises for students of BSc (Hons) Airlines, Tourism & Hospitality .
The session was delivered by Ms. Priya Adappa, Terminal Operations Officer at the Mangalore International Airport, who shared insights about the aviation industry and career opportunities. She explained airport operations, required skill sets and the importance of professionalism, communication and customer service in aviation.
The event was presided over by Dr. Dhiraj Pathak, Principal, NIHS and coordinated by Ms. Sumalatha Shetty, Asst. Professor, NIHS.The session was informative and inspiring, providing students with practical knowledge and motivation to explore careers in aviation.
