Nitte Institute of Hospitality Services (NIHS) celebrated International Women's Day with the theme “Give to Gain - Empowering Women through Culinary Excellence and Leadership” on 6th March 2026 at the college premises. The program aimed to recognize the contributions of women and promote empowerment through knowledge, skills and leadership in the hospitality and culinary fields. A cooking competition was also held on the occasion.
Chief Guest for the program was Ms. Laxmi Shenoy, Content Creator and Digital Marketer, while the Guest of Honour was Ms. Mabel Grace, Food, Travel & Lifestyle Influencer and Anchor. The event was coordinated by Rahul Bhat, Asst. Professor at NIHS.
