News from NIA | Congratulations Ar. Malhar Avinash Pansare

We are proud to share that Ar. Malhar Avinash Pansare, Faculty at Nitte Institute of Architecture, has been awarded the Outstanding Faculty Award at the Solar Decathlon India National Competition 2026 held on 20th June 2026.

Ar. Malhar mentored Team Srujanyam, a multidisciplinary team of nine students from our B.Arch and B.Tech programs, to the national finals of the competition. The team presented ATMOSYNC, an adaptive, energy-efficient cooling system that integrates passive ventilation with active refrigerant-based cooling in a retrofittable, window-mounted unit.
