Design for a change by MRSMEMHS students
First project: Some of the students lag in scholastic performance. There is gap in communication between the school and the parents. Some of our students felt sorry for their situation and found the need to take classes for interested parents. A notice in this connection was sent and the 12 parents responded. Students with the help of their English teacher discussed their plans with the Principal. On taking her consent students started classes as per parents' caliber or level. Dhanya, Pratham of class 8, Harison, Rakshith Vijay and Nihal of class 7 took initiative.

Second project: In connection with Design for Change- students of class 6, initiated a cleanliness drive 'Ek Kadam Swacchata Ke Ore' at a place of devotional importance in the locality. Devotees offer flowers daily. The carry bags with dried flowers are disposed in the place. This supports breeding of mosquitoes and houseflies, comes in the way of natural flow of water, blocks the road and causes problems to pedestrians.Keerthan S, Mohammed Tabseer, Nista, Shamitha and Sahana took initiative along with other students.
Third Project : As a part of the Design For Change program, our students have taken up the challenge of providing 2 months free computer classes for interested parents. This programme as inaugurated by Mr. Deva Prasad Punaroor on August 17, 2016.
