NSS unit of Nitte Usha Institute of Nursing sciences organized a health awareness programme for Shree Shakthi group on 15-09-2014 at Madani Anganwadi .Total 5 NSS volunteers with Ms. Preveena, Asst. NSS programme officers actively participated in the programme. The topic selected for the programme was Breast and cervical cancer. .The programme started at 2.00 pm with invocation, followed by the welcome speech. The NSS volunteers explained with slides in detail about meaning, causes, prevention, screening and management of breast and cervical cancer. It was an interactive and interesting session. There were about 20-25 Shree Shakthi group members , who actively participated in the programme.
