The department of Psychiatry , organised a programme for the deaddiction patients and their families " FAMILY MEET" on 19th of December-2014 at Justice K.S. Hegde Charitable Hospital, Deralakatte . Mr. Vivek Pais, Director of Sree Kshethra Dharmasthala Rural development Programme ( SKDRDP) Janajagruthi Vedike was the resource person. Dr. Satheesh Rao , Prof. & Head, department of psychiatry lighted the lamp and inaugurated the programme . Dr. Shrinivasa Bhat Assoc. Professor , Department of psychiatry, Dr. Aneesh Bhat, Asst. Professor Department of psychiatry, Dr. Santosh Prabhu,Asst.Professor Department of psychiatry,Dr. Shishir Kumar, Asst. Professor Department of Psychiatry Dr. Aneesh V Cherian , Asst. Professor Department of Psychiatry , Mrs. Mamtha Bhandary, Mrs. Suman Pinto , the counselors, department of psychiatry actively participated. around 50 patients and their family benefited by this programme.
