Health Camp / Outreach Program, "Geriatric Clinic" on 02-03-2015 - KSHEMA

The Department of Community Medicine organized a Health Camp / Outreach Program, "Geriatric Clinic" on 02-03-2015 at Sevashrama Belma . The Department of community medicine conducts a geriatric clinic in Sevashrama an orphanage for destitute women managed by Seva Bhaava Charitable Trust in Belma on the first Monday of every month. It was conducted on 2nd march 2015 under the able guidance of HOD community medicine Dr.N.Udayakiran post graduate Dr.Grace conducted the clinic. Mr.Santhosh N P,social worker also accompanied and helped. About 12 inmates were there whose common ailments were addressed and treated. Essential drugs were supplied. Two patients were referred to the psychiatry department. The clinic is a place for understanding the geriatric problems and extending a helping hand for the same.
