Students celebrated Onam, the harvest festival of Kerala at the campus on Wednesday,
August 26. The celebration was inaugurated by Mr. Raviraj Kini, Head of Department who
also addressed the students. The traditional dance of Kerala, Thiruvathira, which was
performed by both students and faculty, set the stage for the festivities. In keeping with the
spirit of the festival, Kerala sarees and mundu was the dress code for the day.
Songs, dances, games followed with enthusiastic participation by both students and faculty.
The highlight of the evening was the tug of war which happened amidst a lot of cheering
and laughter.
The evening ended with the prize distribution and a round of payasam.
