Live video conference on 'Creative Cardiology" - KSHEMA

Nitte university Chancellor N Vinay Hegde said doctors should focus on providing quality treatment to patients and also serving in rural areas. He was speaking at a live video conference on 'Creative Cardiology, organised in collaboration with K S Hegde Medical Academy, Nitte University, and Methodoist De-bakery heart and vascular center, Houston, USA, on Nitte campus in Deralakatte here recently.

Hegde said, "Seventy percent of India's population lives in village. Therefore, providing quality health services should be the motto of young doctors. We are giving free treatment to more than three lakh people every year through KSHEMA hospital," Everyday, more than 1500 people get treatment in the hospital," he added.

Yenepoya University Vice chancellor Prof Dr M Vijaya Kumar inaugurated the programme. Nitte University Pro Vice Chancellor Dr M Shanthram Shetty, registrar Dr M S Moodithya, Dean Dr Satish Kumar Bhandary, Director (Finance) Rajendra M and Methodist De- Bakery Heart and Vascular Centre (Houston, USA) Senior Cardiology Consultant Dr Ajith Adyantay were present on the occasion.
