The Orientation Day for the 28th Batch of Postgraduate Students was organized by A.B.Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences on Monday, 2nd May 2016. Prof.(Dr.) S Ramananda Shetty, Vice Chancellor, Nitte University Was the guest of honour. He emphasized the importance of research work and encouraged students to take up more research work during the post graduation course apart from excelling in Clinical work and Academics. Prof.(Dr.) U.S.Krishna Nayak, Principal and Dean, ABSMIDS presided over the function. Prof.(Dr.) B Rajendra Prasad, Director, PG Studies and Prof.(Dr.) Mithra N Hegde, Vice Principal and Heads of various Departments also addressed the Students.
The program was well attended by more than 200 delegates including newly joined Postgraduate Students, their parents and Staff of the Institution.
