The Department of Periodontics, A.B. Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences in association with Interns Academic Club organised a CDE programme on " Importance of Oral Hygiene in Dental Health Realted to Periodontics " on 21st November 2016 in Vimshathi Bhawan (7th floor,ABSMIDS).
Prof.(Dr.) U.S.Krishna Nayak (Principal and Dean) welcomed the gathering. Prof.(Dr.) Sridhar Shetty (Director, CADSS) presided over the function. Prof.(Dr.) Biju Thomas gave the vote of thanks.Dr. Ajay Kakar (Periodontist and Implantologist and is a Clinical Associate Professor with Stony Brook Dental School, SUNY, USA. He is also the CEO of BITEIN.) delivered the lecture which was attended by almost 150 delegates including final year BDS, interns , post graduates of the department of periodontology and the staffs.
