HEALTH EDUCATION AMONG SCHOOL CHILDREN – FARANGIPET An health education was conducted by the National Service Scheme of KSHEMA along with Department of Community Medicine, KSHEMA, Mangalore in a government school at Farangipet on 25.11.16 regarding personnel hygiene, food and environmental sanitation. Our Programme officer Dr. Nanjesh Kumar along with our NSS Volunteers conducted the session in the school among the children belonging to class 6 & 7. The speeches were delivered by Dr. Nanjesh and Dr. Deepthi in Kannada and in English by Dr. Shiny and Dr. Sharon. There were around 60 students and they were encouraged to ask their doubts if any. The students actively involved themselves interactively during the session of health education.
