The Department of Public Health Dentistry, A. B. Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences, Nitte University conducted a free dental screening camp at Shree Bharathi Vidyapeetha School, Mujungavu and Shree Bharathi Vidyapeetha School, Badiadaka on 5.1.2017. The team was headed by Dr. Rajendra Prasad, (Director of PG Studies, ABSMIDS and the President of Sri Bharathi Group of Institutions) and Dr. Febin Mary Sabastian. The camp started off after a small inaugural function at Shree Bharathi Vidyapeetha School, Mujungavu. A health education talk was delivered by Dr. Febin. 176 students benefitted from the camp. The team conducted another dental camp at Shree Bharathi Vidyapeetha School, Badiadaka in which about 324 students were screened. The camp concluded with a closing ceremony.
