Dr NSAM First Grade College, a unit of Nitte Education Trust has organized a National Seminar in association with International Society for Applied Commerce and Bangalore University Teachers Council of Commerce and Management. The key note address by Dr Gurudutt p Jappee set the tone for the conference. The Chief Guest Dr. Parthasarathy elaborated on the theme while the Guest of honour Dr. Lakhani spoke about the role of ISAC. The administrator, Mr. Rohit Punja stressed on the relevance of Commerce and Management in the current global scenario. The Inaugural was followed by the technical sessions. The conference had five technical sessions held simultaneously. They were: Finance, Accounts and Taxation, Marketing, Human Resource, General Management and Corporate Governance. Paper presenters were from Tamilnadu, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra and of course Karnataka. Papers presented were diverse and addressed a host of contemporary issues. The total number of papers received for the conference was 60 of which 38 papers have already been published with ISSN number. What was remarkable is that students participated in large numbers along with academicians.
