The Department of Community Medicine organized a Health Camp / Outreach Program, "Vector Borne Diseases Awareness Programme and Medical Health Check Up Camp" on 07-08-2017 at Sarosh Institute of Hotel Administration in Adyar . There was health education session on Vector Borne diseases for students of the institute. Dr. Nanjesh gave the introductory speech followed by Dr.Harshitha spoke about Malaria transmission and prevention and Dr. Rakesh Maiya spoke about Dengue transmission and prevention. There was an interactive session where the quires from the students were addressed.There was general health check-up for all the first year students of hotel administration which was attended by around 100 students.
