A Continuing Dental Education Programme comprising of three lectures and hands on session on Current Updates on Fundamentals of Endodontics was conducted by the Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, A. B. Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences, Nitte University on the 23rd of October 2017 from 09.00 a.m at Trimshathi Bhavan. The programme was jointly sponsored by KaVo Kerr India and the college.
The programme commenced by lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries, the Chief Guest Prof. Dr. M. S. Moodithaya, Registrar, Nitte University, Resource Persons Prof. (Dr.) Shashi Rashmi Acharya and Prof. (Dr.) Amit Patodiya, Prof. (Dr.) U. S. Krishna Nayak, Principal, Prof. (Dr.) B. Rajendra Prasad, Director – Postgraduate Studies and Prof. Dr. Mithra N. Hegde, Vice Principal, Head of the Department.
Prof. Dr. Mithra N. Hegde welcomed the gathering and briefed about the academic agenda of the Department pertaining to the CDE Programmes being conducted every month which provide an avenue for robust exchange of information on recent concepts and scientific achievements in dentistry.
