Prof. Dr. P.S.Prakash, Professor of General Medicine is appointed as a Dean of K.S.Hegde Medical Academy on 10th November 2017.
Dr.P.S.Prakash started his academic journey in Mysore Medical College from where he graduated and completed his post-graduation, MD in General Medicine from Mysore Medical College, Mysore in 1985.
He has served for about 6 years as Lecturer, Assistant Professor, and Reader in KMC, Mangalore and for about 10 years as Lecturer, Assistant Professor and Associate Professor in GARYOUNIS University Faculty of Medicine, Libya.
He joined K.S.Hegde Medical Academy in the year 2002 and worked as Associate Professor, Professor and Head in the Department of General Medicine for a period of 15 years. He served as Vice Dean of K.S.Hegde Medical Academy for a period of 5 years. And now he is appointed as a Dean of K.S.Hegde Medical Academy with effect from 10th November 2017.
He has a vast experience of administration and is a member of various administrative bodies of the prestigious Medical Colleges.
