NSS Unit of NGSM Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences celebrated National Youth Day on 18th January 2018 to commemorate Swami Vivekananda's 155th birth anniversary. The program started with a prayer invoking blessings of the divine soul. Dr. Santanu Saha, NSS Program officer welcomed the gathering. Dr. Narayana Charyulu, Vice-Principal briefed about the life, teachings and spiritual experiences of the great son of India. Mr. Vivek Pai, Placement officer explained how relevant Swami Vivekananda's ideologies and timeless inspirational thoughts were unto date. He dared the students to wake up from the slumber of indecisiveness, shun valueless pursuits and muster confidence and courage to challenge the status quo and life's limitations to position India as a global leader. Mr. Stephen, NSS volunteer from II Pharm.D expressed the collective views of the students and thanked NSS for organising such programs which motivate the youth and instill confidence and passion to do something worthwhile for the nation.
