A condolence meeting was held at Mulki Ramakrishna Punja ITI on the sad demise of Sri N.P. Shetty, a legendary Kannada and Tulu litterateur. Sri Harikrishna Punaroor, former President of State Kannada Sahithya Parishad expressed his deep condolences and mentioned that Mr. N.P. Shetty was not only the finest writer but also a multifaceted personality with expertise in Yakshagana and Yoga. His sudden demise has created a big void in Mulki Sahithya Parishad.
Mr. Y.N. Salian, Principal a very close friend of Mr. N.P. Shetty in his welcome address recalled some of the beautiful moments they had shared together. Mr. Avinash Shetty, S/o. Mr. N.P. Shetty; Sri Bhuvanabhirama Udupa, Sri Harishchandra P Salian and Yoga Guru Mr. Jaya Muddu Shetty paid homage to the departed soul.
The program was anchored by Mr. Vishwanath Rao and Mr. Hari H proposed the Vote of thanks.
