Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) is a program of multi interventions through different modes and media designed to educate citizens, electors and voters about the electoral process. Nitte Institute of Physiotherapy organized a SVEEP program on 12th April, 2018 for the staff & students to increase their awareness and participation in the State Assembly elections – 2018.
Mr. Ganesh H.R., Lecturer, Dept. of Microbiology, KSHEMA was the resource person for the program. Addressing the gathering, he explained the importance of casting a vote. Dr. Sayeegeetha, Nodal Officer and HoD of Humanities led the oath taking for students & staff where they pledged to cast their vote in an honest manner and follow all the norms. Mrs. Suchetha P.S. Asst. Professor, Nitte Institute of Physiotherapy was the Master of ceremony. Mr Rakesh Krishna, Asst. Professor, NIPT presided over the function. Ms. Grace, IV BPT proposed the Vote of thanks.
