The International Yoga Day was celebrated on the 21st June, 2018 at Vimshathi Bhavan, A. B. Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences, Deralakatte. Yogarathna Sri. Gopalkrishna Delampady addressed the gathering, explaining the preparations, the pose of asanas, physical and mental benefits of each asana. He motivated the students and staff to practice yoga and thus bring about a change in their lifestyle.
The event was presided by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Satheesh Kumar Bhandary and Registrar, Prof. Dr. Alka Kulkarni, Nitte (Deemed to be University). Vice Principal, Prof. Dr. Mithra N. Hegde welcomed the gathering.
